Moving day count down.....45 days ?!?!!??!?!?!?!

I have realized that I won't be able to put up a tree and really decorate for Christmas. I have fully accepted that and moved on although I am a little bummed!

I have taken bags and bags of stuff to Goodwill, why is there still so much stuff here? It must multiply overnight.

I have come to the realization that I am a pack rat and emotionally attached to way to many things. Must. Let. Go.

I can't wait for the kids to say "let's go to papa and grandma's house" and I can say "okay let's go" instead of "not today, it's to far away".

Last year we had just moved in November. My whole house was in boxes. There was no way to decorate for Christmas. I did a Valentine tree instead. The kids loved it! Esther

What a great idea! I just picked up a white christmas tree on freecycle.org and that would be perfect for a Valentine tree.

Yes, I can empathize with that. We have at least 5000 boxes and we can fill every one of them up with stuff. (Just kidding about the 5000, it just seems like it). I just got back from Dodge City tonight and I have the day off tomorrow. Guess what I get to do. Yes, you guessed it, I get to pack boxes. Someone please shoot me now!

I think being a pack rat runs in the family! I also thought you were trying to get rid of stuff and I just read that you picked up a Christmas tree on Freecycle. What's up with that? :o) I'll be in Oklahoma this weekend helping move some of those 5,000 boxes! YIKES! Can't wait 'til December 12th!!! See you soon! :o)
