Want to know a secret? I love to watch animated movies. There. I said it. I am a big geeky grown up who still likes to watch kids movies. I've watched all the Shrek movies and Madagascar, KungFu Panda, LoVeD it! So when I got the opportunity to check out the four collectible DVDs that General Mills and Dream Works animation teamed up to create I said YES, sign me up. So here's the scoop. General Mills and Dream Works animation have created four collectible DVD samplers containing content from Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar. Each DVD contains fun episodes, behind the scenes footage and bonus material. My boys loved the Madagascar dvd! I am a fan of Shrek, there's something about a big, stinky, ogre that i love. The Shrek dvd is titled Extra Ogresodes, don't you love that!
But here is the even better part, each dvd contains a sneak peek at the new feature film, The Croods!!! EEEKkk! I'm so excited for a new movie.Here's Josh reading one of books that came in our gift pack.

It's hard to pick out just one! But I will say Sleeping Beauty!
Our family loves Dreamworks Animation films! We have many favorites including Kung Fu Panda,Shrek,How to train your Dragon, and all of the Madagascar movies. I think our family favorite is a movie about a bunch of spoiled animals in New York City Zoo and some witty penguins. Everyone knows which movies I'm talking about! Madagascar! Our family can watch this movie multiple times. The kids get up and dance everytime they hear the catchy tune, "I like to move it". This movie is a must have staple in your dvds! Love it!
