Catch of the Day

two minnows (or two little fish that I'm sure will die soon) now living in our fish tank along with a new snail.
It has been a busy day with going to garage sales, soccer games and fishin' in the park, now I know two very dirty boys who need baths and early bedtimes.

Josh says....

this is not an everyday statement, while riding in the car Josh says to Michael, "because your my best friend".

The boy is in his element.....

water and outdoors. He loves to play in water, of any kind, creek, puddle, pool, tub, sink, etc. Today we made a stop at the park with a little creek. Net and bucket in hand we "fished" for anything. Luckily, we happened to catch two snails who are now living in our fish tank.

You can see it's much better to lay down on the muddy rocks to see what one may be catching. He was one tuckered out boy tonight and fell right to sleep.

Michael says

while deep in creativity, he asks, "Josh, can you fetch me scissors and some glue?" ????????????

Boys and Dirt

Our yard is being torn to pieces from the Natural gas company replacing meters and lines, almost daily there's diggers making huge wholes, men working, and dump trucks dumping new loads of dirt in our yard. Today I knew they removed a huge pile of dirt and rocks, but Josh came running in very excited this afternoon to tell me "there's a new mountain, mom, come see". Sure enough, there's another huge pile of dirt in the yard and the boys are in heaven. Really, I don't know why I bother to buy them toys.
