How to get over a bad day at work:

#1-warm, comfy clothes
#2-stacks and stacks of Golden books such as The Three Bears, Noah's Ark, The cow that went over the Mountain, Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Wheels on the Bus
#3-lay in bed beside almost 4 yr old boy
#4-read, read, read and forget about the rest of the world (and my scanner from work that accidently got thrown in the trash compactor at Kmart??!!*&^%$)

Computer problems

I'm having some problems with uploading my pictures. The computer says my USB port has malfunctioned and I have no idea why or how to fix it. It may be my camera cords?, I don't know but while I (or someone else) resolves the problem there may be a lack of posting with pictures or a lack of posting all together.
And it's that wonderful time of year when everyone is busy with Holiday preparations and celebrations. Right now, I'm baking salt-dough ornaments for the kids to paint later. We have our tree up and decorated and even some lights outside. My dad just brought me an outdoor tree like his (but smaller) and I need to buy more lights to decorate it.

It quietly fell overnight,

SNOW! Not much, just a few flurries on the cars and on top of the roof. Just a few days ago it was 75 degrees! That's what Oklahoma weather is like this time of year, shorts and a t-shirt one day, snow the next. It's suppose to be back in the 50's today.

I am loving this weather!!!

Oh, I can't believe how beautiful it is today. It's about 75 degrees right now, Michael wore shorts and a t-shirt to school! I have all the windows open and the door even propped open (no mosquitos this time of year)!

I know it won't last long, Barry said it's suppose to be very cold on Thanksgiving.

It's been busy around here as usual. Last friday was Statehood day for Oklahoma, (100 yrs) Michael's school had a big program with all the grades performing songs, square dancing, etc. It was a lot of fun!
Saturday we met the baseball team and Michael got his medal for playing. Sunday afternoon we had a small family reunion here in town and sunday evening we had the Thanksgiving dinner at church.

Now I have to go enjoy this weather some more, because it won't last!

Big, stinky, mean dog!!!

I've been very neglectful and I apologize. I've had time and been on the computer alot, I just haven't posted.

I've been on overprotective mom alert. We had new neighbors move in right across the street and they have a pit bull dog. GRRRR!!!! This makes me very frustrated! Pit bulls (in my opinion) are very dangerous dogs. There has been a child in our town killed by a pit bull and numerous people attacked by this type of dogs. Now there is one right across the street from us and held back by a very poor, not sturdy fence.

I don't let the boys play out in the front yard now unless there is an adult with them. They can play out back in our fenced yard. I've considered moving, but the thought of moving again stresses me out!

At least it's getting colder and the boys won't be outside all that much anyway.

Now that I'm angry I need to go clean!
