Happy Halloween to all!!

We are in the true spirit of Halloween and showing are redneck roots, the boys are going as Nascar drivers. Josh is Jeff Gordon and just for Nanny, Michael is going as Earnhardt, Jr. I thought maybe Barry and I should dress as real redneck fans of Nascar, but we are going to a church function so it might not be quite appropriate! Anyway, Hope ya'll have a fun-filled wacky day!

I'm back, still totally unorganized!

*This picture was last week at the local "kiddie park" Spookarama! The same little amusement park that is open all summer long, but during Spookarama everybody, every last person w/children in town comes to ride the same rides while wearing Halloween costumes! We waited in line about 30 minutes to ride one ride, crazy! We gave our tickets away and went home. Yeah, I'm so much fun! I don't do well with large crowds of sceaming kids and unhappy parents.
*This weekend we went to Fall Fun Fest to do some early trick or treating and play games! We also stopped by K-mart and entered a contest for the kids in costumes, prize being a $10 gift card. Miss Fair maiden Katy happened to win the gift card! Yea!
*Michael got his report card with 80% in Math and 80% in Language Arts. Let me just say that report cards aren't like they were when I was in school. I need a study guide just to read and understand the two pages of report card and he is just now getting a letter grade in only two subjects, the other subjects are "Secure or Developing". Anyway, I'm okay with the B's but 80% is borderline to C's. His teacher let me know that the mistakes he is making are silly, not reading and following all the written directions. He rushes through and makes sloppy mistakes and his handwriting, Oh my goodness, it's the worst in the class. I know he can do better with writing if he slows down, I've seen him do better, but how do you make him understand that? It's been the same issues since kindergarten. I'm looking for some handwriting exercises to help strengthen his hand muscles and maybe the writing will improve.
**Josh loves girls, he will tell it like it is and let you know that he has not one, but two girl friends. Last week he gathered acorns in his pocket and very sweetly shared some with his girl friend Allie at church. The other girlfriend is a girl from Michael's class that played with Josh at the birthday party.
Now that I've gone on and on. I have new pictures over at Facebook. The pics upload so much faster and I can organize them in albums, etc for free. http://www.facebook.com/photos.php?id=651870981&ref=pb
That link should take you directly to my photos.

Bleh, Blah,
It's just a mood I'm in. Life is coming and going so fast (It's november next week!). I'm feeling so unorganized and not ready for the holidays. Not to mention, Barry is starting a second job which means he will be working or sleeping with not much time to spare, the car is going in the shop tomorrow and I'm having back pain (lifted too many boxes of books at work). I need to take a break, clear my head and get a plan of action. So I'll be back in a few days, maybe a week.

Fall Break, yeah right!
Tomorrow is the first day of Fall Break and Michael is out of school for three days. Oh, but a break it will not be! It seems we've got more going on in the next few days than ever! Here's a little breakdown
Wed-am-Josh's speech evaluation (finally), after evaluation, I go to work for 4+ hours, come home and quiz boys on bible verses for Awanas at 6 pm
Thurs-trip to the pumpkin patch and then it's off to grandma's and papa's for a sleepover (I would gladly come back home, but Josh is convinced that I'm sleeping on the chair at grandma's)
Fri-Barry's company is having a picnic for employees and their families (in Tulsa), make cupcakes and goody bags for Michaels party
Sat- Michael's birthday party + clean house for Sunday
Sun- Cookout for my Dad and Michael's birthday
Just thought you might want to see what's going on this weekend, I'll try to post some pictures when I can! Happy Fall, ya'll!

It's been an eventful day!

Grandma got stuck in the basketball costume while I was at the dentist for an hour. She couldn't get it off by herself and didn't want to tear the costume!*********
You can see 1 of Michaels 4 new shiny caps on his teeth. He also had one cavity filled on an adult tooth.

Promises, Promises,

See I missed a day of posting already! Darn it! Maybe I'll post twice today. We are going to the ball game in a little while and I have yet to take a picture of Michael. I'm usually watching Josh run all over the place and making numerous trips to the concession stand or the bathroom. ***********************************************
Michaels birthday is coming up very soon and we have finally! planned a birthday party that is not going to be at our house!!!! Every year he always ends up wanting a halloween themed party at home. This year we decided (mainly because our house is way to small) to go to the YMCA and play basketball, games, and spend an hour in their game room. Much easier, no cleaning my house for hours the day before the party, no worries, no stress! **********************************************

Uh, Oh!
It's been a busy day starting another very busy week. Michael had a dentist appointment this morning and had rather bad news (cavities!). He will have a couple of cavities filled next week and a cap put on a baby tooth. We will be cutting out all soda and gatorade for awhile! Other than that we have baseball practice tonight, PTO meeting tomorrow night (michael's class is performing) AWANAS on wed. night and baseball game on Thursday night. Mix that with my boss being on vacation, and I'm working lots of hours this week. I'm tired already and it's only Monday!

Here's my goal
They are beautiful, don't you agree

Stop by and say hi....
Because I keep this blog up to date so well, I decided to start a second blog! I know, call me crazy, but this one is kind of my own little space to gather my thoughts and showcase some of my creativity. I've been reading so many inspiring blogs in all areas of life. so, stop by if you feel like and visit me at www.ifoundatreasure.blogspot.com
I can't believe it's been a week already. Really, I want to post more often, but it seems I spend more time reading blogs than taking care of my own.************
Baseball is almost over, two more games and I will be really happy when it's done. It seems we got on a team with a few really rowdy boys. Last night in the dugout there was some fighting, punching, etc. and as Michael said "a lot of BAD words". I'm not helping in the dugout, but Barry is and he finally had enough of it and told the boys and their parents what went on. *************
Now it is 8 am and I've sat here in my pajamas reading blogs for too long! Later!
PS. The horse has been more appropriately clothed! We picked a nice outfit from the baby dept. at Goodwill. (only my sister will understand) Now he's part of the Village people only part of the day!
