This has become a ritual for Josh. Immediately following a game, he puts on a helmet and grabs a bat. It's his turn! He has become quite the baseball player, today he hit it over Barry's head and almost to second base. After he's hit the ball he loves to run the bases, just like the big boys!

Coach B gave a serious pep talk before the game. The team we played today, we had played two other times before, each time only winning by one and three runs. Today our team took charge and the other team didn't even score a run until the 4th inning. Final Score 15-4

He actually missed the ball on this pitch, but had a very good hit on the next one! I get too caught up in the game to take good pictures.

We are the Champions!

Wow! We took first place in the tournament today! It was an awesome game. I put some pictures in my flickr album because blogger is taking an incredibly looonngg time to upload pictures today.



Now we are off for an afternoon of swimming!

What's up!

So much has been going on lately, too much to even talk about, birthdays, new babies, high school reunions, baseball games, work, fun trips and that has just been the last few days. Mom and I took the boys to the Oklahoma aquarium on Tuesday. The boys fed the sting rays in this picture and poor grandma almost lost her finger as she had to retrieve the plastic feeding pole that Josh dropped in the tank. She retrieved the pole and kept her finger thankfully!
We have our tournament baseball game tonight! If we win tonight we will play in the finals on Saturday and then baseball will be over. Amen! I will be so glad for a break from baseball games, but only a short break, sign ups for Fall Baseball are in August.

I won't apologize for my laziness about not blogging or my falling asleep on the couch at night when I should be blogging. I will just say I will do better after the next couple of weeks. Baseball will be done soon, work will really slow down after Father's Day and I'm hoping we can slow down and enjoy the lazy, long, summer days (even though they will be HOT!!!)

Happy Anniversary to my "buddy"

Apparently before Barry left for work this morning he came and patted me on the back (I was still very sound asleep) and said Happy Anniversary, and my genuine, sentimental, full of love and appreciation for the last 11 years reply was...."Thanks buddy". That's what you get for talking to me before 7 am. Not very much! But really thanks for the last 11 years and being my "buddy".
